How to restore it?
- Open a window of this PC
- Go to C:\Users\<your username>AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Protect
(note: if you can’t find the AppData folder, activate the viewing of hidden files from the View bar)
- Inside you will find a folder starting with S-1…
- Delete it and RETURN.
The system will re-create the folder (which contains the Password Vault) which will initially be empty.
As mentioned above, after some time it will be rescheduled from the cloud if you had activated it.
In this way the system RESTORES the correct structure for the Web Credentials’ of the ‘Credentials Manager’.
